Manufacturing Facility |
|
|
Veloteq electric bicycles and ebike products are
manufactured in an ISO9001:2000 facility. It is comprised of finance
and administrative departments, R&D, sales, production and quality
control. The company occupies an area of 86,000 sq. ft. (8000 sq.
m), including building area of over 60,000 sq. ft. (5600 sq. m.).
The addition of a new facility which will encompass an additional
20,000 sq. ft. is underway to separate domestic production from the
core export production. The facilities are located in Shanghai in close proximity to major ocean and
airports.
It presently employs 100 personnel, of which 32 personnel hold
college degrees, more than 30 engineering technical and managerial
personnel, and 2 senior engineers. It has extensive production and
sales experience in the industry, and is equipped with a
first-class production line,
inspection and quality control equipment, and an industrial molding
design office. It conducts rigid inspections during all phases of
product design, components authentication and technical process
control, and employs strict testing of road reliability and
durability for all of our products.
Veloteq is also teamed with Powergenix of San
Diego, CA to develop a revolutionary new power supply offering
greatly reduced size, weight, and recharge time and also a greater
usable life, more than double that of conventional lead acid battery
power supplies. It will permit a much longer travel distance
between recharges. This project will come to reality in the
last quarter of 2007. It serves as another example of world
leading Veloteq electric bicycle technology advances.
